Antelope Canyon is one of the most magical corners of Arizona, and with this excursion, you can visit one of the areas of the canyon and discover spectacular landscapes.
Day Trip Details
After gathering at your selected meeting point at the indicated time, we'll hit the road to Arizona, into the Navajo territory. During the car journey, the guide will explain to you the characteristics of Antilope Canyon and some of the unusual facts about one of the most spectacular places in the United States.
We'll make a stop so you can have breakfast at your own leisure in St. George, Utah, home to the oldest operating Mormon temple in the world. Then, we'll keep going as we delve deeper into Navajo territory, reaching the mighty Colorado River and stopping for a visit to “Horseshoe Bend.” This popular stop is where the river flows and meanders around the rocks, creating a unique horseshoe-shaped loop, hence the name.
Then, depending on weather conditions, availability, or the season, we'll visit one of the areas of the Antelope Canyon: the Upper Canyon, Lower Canyon, or X Canyon. No matter which option is chosen on the day of the activity, we'll enjoy spectacular postcard-worthy scenery.
A local Navajo guide will tour us through the canyon and show us the beauty of the sun, which creates shafts of light that shine through the slits in the canyon walls, creating a one-of-a-kind view. The narrow walls of this passageway are a large corridor of sinuous forms reminiscent of a sea of red rock. When the sun rises above Arizona, pools of light filter through the openings above, creating stunning and breathtaking curtains of illumination.
Anyone hungry? You'll have a one-hour break to have lunch at your own leisure and then head to the Glenn Canyon viewpoint to have one last look at this spectacular area.
Lastly, we'll return to Las Vegas and drop you off back at the meeting point between 13 and 14 hours after pickup, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
