We'll meet in Plaza de las Ranas and kick off a private tour of the capital! During this 4-hour route on foot, we'll make several stops at the most symbolic locations in the city.
Our first stop will be the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium. Built as if it were a lighthouse right at the end of Las Canteras beach, this avant-garde building has become a symbol of the city. Its modern construction is the work of the architect Óscar Tusquets. Do you know where he got the inspiration for the design of the plans?
The tour will continue to the Vegueta neighbourhood, in the heart of the old town. Colourfully painted buildings, houses from the colonial period and many other vestiges of history live together in this area that will captivate us forever. This traditional neighbourhood is full of numerous traces of the past that we'll discover during the tour.
As a final touch, we'll go to the famous Plaza de Santa Ana to visit the cathedral of Las Palmas and the Casa de Colón, as you prefer. Then, we'll bring the tour to an end, after 4 hours. If you wish, you can also choose to stay in Vegueta to explore this picturesque district of the capital of Gran Canaria.
