Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Free Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Plaza de las Ranas to begin this free tour of Las Palmas in which we'll explore the historic centre of the capital of Gran Canaria.
We'll set off and reach the Plaza de San Antonio Abad to admire the façade of the Casa de Colón and visit the Plaza del Pilar Nuevo. From there, we'll walk towards the charming Cathedral of Santa Ana, adorned with its wide square. We'll stop to admire the façade of the Palacio Episcopal and the Casa Regental. We'll also see the famous dog sculptures that are located in this area, and reveal what these dogs represent!
Our tour will continue towards the Vegueta neighbourhood, where we'll see the Vegueta market from the outside. There, we'll stop to talk about the importance of this place for local life. Our last stop will be the elegant Gabinete Literario, the meeting place of the cultural life of Las Palmas.
Finally, after 2.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll end the tour at this last point.
