Las Galletas Dolphin & Whale Watching Activity
Las Galletas Dolphin & Whale Watching Activity
At the scheduled time, we'll meet up on the Espigón promenade in the Marina del Sur harbour. Our boat will be waiting here to take us on a trip so we can spot the families of dolphins and whales that frequent the coast of Las Galletas.
Once we're all on board, we'll set sail around southwest Tenerife towards a protected area for whale watching. Large colonies of pilot whales tend to swim around this area, so keep your eyes peeled for them!
We'll tell you lots of fun facts about the wildlife found along Tenerife's coastline as we gaze out at the sea. During our activity, we'll also spot groups of dolphins, beaked whales and, if we're lucky, fin whales and sea turtles.
Afterwards, we'll drop anchor in a cove where you'll have some free time to take a dip. You'll also be given goggles and a snorkel so you can explore the underwater beauty of the largest Canary Island.
During this stop, we'll prepare a lunch that'll include a delicious selection of snacks. Your meal will be accompanied by a drink, which will be your choice from water, wine, beer or a soft drink. Bon appétit!
After between three and three and a half hours at sea, we'll finish our activity back at the starting point.
