Teide National Park Free Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet in the Mirador (lookout point) de Los Roques de García and set off on our tour of the Teide National Park.
We'll start exploring the fantastic scenery of the Teide National Park while learning lots about this volcanic landscape. We'll hike a 6-kilometer (3.5 mi) route through the Cañadas, getting to know the Llanos de Ucanca, the Cinchado rock, and other natural monuments that will absolutely astound you. Sometimes it'll seem like we're on Mars or on the moon instead of on an island in the middle of the Atlantic.
During the tour, we'll reveal how Teide was formed and the different eruptive processes it has experienced throughout its history.
We'll also take a look at the local flora and fauna and explain why this natural site is so rich in unique native species. Have you ever heard of the red tajinastes, or the Teide violets? We'll tell you all about these fascinating plants.
The Teide tour will conclude when we return back to the starting point after two hours of walking.
