Tour Options
When booking, you can choose between the following tour options. Both include pickup from your hotel in Lagos at 8:30 am.
Half-Day Tour (4 hours)
Go off the beaten path to discover lesser-known aspects of the Algarve: its fauna, its flora and some of its inland villages. We'll start our 4x4 adventure in the surroundings of Bravura Lake. Here you'll enjoy a 15-minute stroll along the shore until we reach a nearby swimming spot where you can take a dip.
After enjoying the lake, we'll continue on towards the Serra de Monchique. On the way, we'll make a stop in an abandoned village, a unique and very interesting place. Then, once we're in the heart of the mountains, we'll visit a 60-meter-high waterfall, a real natural masterpiece!
Next, our 4x4 will take us to the highest part of the Monchique mountains, where we'll marvel at the spectacular views of the surrounding area.
Full-Day Tour (8 hours)
On the full-day tour, in addition to the above itinerary, we'll make a stop in Monchique for lunch at a local restaurant, where you'll enjoy a delicious typical meal with local products.
After lunch, we'll explore this small village and discover its most picturesque corners. Then, to top off the day, we'll visit the ruins of the convent of Monchique and learn about the legends and secrets hidden behind its walls. From here, you'll also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Monchique - the perfect spot for some incredible photos!
