Description
At the scheduled time we'll collect you from your hotel in La Rioja and begin our tour that will take us to some of the most impressive areas of the province. Have you ever heard of the Valle Rojo de Sanagasta (The Sanagasta Red Valley)? And the Dinosaurs Park? Let's go and visit them!
First off, we'll take a tour of the outskirts of La Rioja to discover the ruins of the Padercitas Church. From there, we'll enter the canyon and visit the Dique de Los Sauces, where we'll see the lake surrounded by reddish-coloured cliffs. You'll love the contrasting colours!
We'll continue the tour of Sanagasta by making our way to a viewpoint, from which we'll have views of the whole valley. You'll be able to spot all the peculiarities of the Argentine desert! Afterwards, we'll make our way to the Salamanca Caves, a place full of troubled legends that will make your hair stand up!
The next stop is perfect for the smaller ones. We'll visit the Dinosaurs Park, where we'll be able to see the remains of these creatures that first roamed this region. In addition, we'll learn all about the dinosaurs thanks to enormous replicas of these prehistoric animals.
After this enjoyable experience, we'll take a hike around the Valle Rojo until we reach the summit of the Paredones, the perfect place to enjoy the last views of La Rioja's nature.
Finally, we'll bring you back to your hotel, where the tour will come to an end after around 3 hours.
