Balandra Beach Day Trip & Swimming with Sea Lions
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Marina Fonatur in La Paz. From there, we'll set off on a boat trip that'll take us to the protected Balandra Beach Nature Reserve.
During the crossing, we'll stop at the San Rafaelito Islet so you can see the sea lion colonies. You'll be able to put on your snorkelling gear and observe how these animals move underwater. As you watch, you can swim with these friendly creatures as you explore the Gulf of California's beauty.
After saying goodbye to our new animal friends, we'll continue to Balandra Beach, which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We'll step off the boat and see a desert-like mix of cacti, reddish hills and the Mexican Pacific's crystal clear waters. On this stunning coastline, you'll also see a very unique rock formation that has been christened El Hongo (The Mushroom). You'll soon see why!
We'll then get our energy back with a delicious lunch on board the boat consisting of ceviche, a ham and cheese sandwich, chips, fresh fruit and biscuits.
Once we've eaten lunch, we'll head back to our starting point, arriving 4 hours after initial pickup.
