At 9:30 am, we'll meet in Murillo Square and start our private tour of the viewpoints in La Paz. You'll be accompanied by a guide just for you throughout the tour - what better way to explore the Bolivian capital?
Our tour will begin with the Killi Killi observation deck, which boasts 360º views of the city. This viewpoint has an impressive history, which we'll discuss during the tour. From here, you'll see incredible views of Illimani Mountain, the highest mountain in the Andes Cordillera Real.
Next, we'll hop on the La Paz cable car to travel several feet above the ground and admire excellent panoramic views of the city. We'll then arrive at El Alto, a town connected to the capital through the cable car network.
We'll get off the cable car at El Alto and visit its shops. These shops are full of mystical objects used by Andean shamans in their rituals honouring Pachamama, a goddess similar to Mother Earth.
The last stop on our tour will be the Montículo viewpoint, where we'll hear some local legends about this mysterious place. Afterwards, we'll finish our tour in San Francisco Square at 1:30 pm and say our goodbyes.
