Tour guide + drivers were great, one star deducted for the agency: 1) For "4 breakfasts", the 1st is provided by the bus. Once you arrive at La Paz and brought to a cafe, it's not included, don't mind paying but wish I got told. I can foresee what the agency will say against this, but I've actually Whatsapp the agency before I get onto the bus asking about breakfast the next day - no response. 2) Inflated - If you book a return bus tickets + Uyuni 3 days separately, it'd be much cheaper.

Description

Day 1: La Paz - Uyuni

At 8 pm, we'll meet on Avenida Uruguay in La Paz and board the bus that'll take us to Uyuni. You'll have dinner on the bus during the journey, which will take all night.

Day 2: Uyuni

When we arrive in Uyuni at around 7 am, we'll take you to a cafeteria for breakfast. Once we've had breakfast and woken up a little, we'll take a jeep to the Uyuni Salt Flat.

On the way, we'll stop at the train cemetery. You'll be able to take lots of artistic photos at this unique spot, which is an esplanade full of abandoned 19th-century locomotives. When we arrive at the Uyuni Salt Flat, we'll visit Colchani, a salt iodization plant. You'll learn all about the methods used to extract this material during our fascinating visit.

After learning about this process, we'll travel through one of the most breathtaking and enchanting landscapes in Bolivia until we get to the Dakar monument and the Playa Blanca salt hostel.

To cap off the day, we'll visit Incahuasi Island. This incredible place is located in the heart of the Uyuni Salt Flat and boasts giant cacti. Here, we'll watch a magical sunset and take a walk around this natural area.

Our second day will conclude at the hostel in Uyuni.

Day 3: Uyuni - Huayllajara

Rise and shine! After a delicious breakfast at the hostel, we'll head to the Colorada Lagoon. On the way, we'll also pass by the Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiacorta lagoons, the Siloli Desert, and the Stone Tree. You'll love the last monument, as it has a very unique shape.

We'll have lunch in a restaurant in Paso del Inca, and then at 4 pm, we'll arrive at the Colorada Lagoon. Look out for flamingos! We'll spend the night at a hostel in the community of Huayllajara.

Day 4: Huayllajara - Salvador Dalí Desert - Uyuni

After breakfast, we'll head to Sol de Mañana. This place tends to leave visitors enthralled due to its great volcanic activity. We'll also visit the Chalviri Hot Springs and the Salvador Dalí Desert, a spectacular landscape dominated by multicolored rock formations. Lastly, we'll visit the viewpoints of the Verde and Blanca Lagoon and the Lincancabur volcano on the border with Chile.

It'll then be time to return to Uyuni, where we'll board the bus that'll take us back to La Paz.
