La Paz + General Cemetery Private Tour
La Paz + General Cemetery Private Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Paz and start exploring its most symbolic sights.
Our tour will begin in Jaén Street, which is one of the oldest streets in La Paz. Here, we'll see some samples of traditional handicrafts before going to Murillo Square to see the capital's most iconic buildings.
The tour will then take us to the Witches' Market and Rodríguez Market. The former is famous for its connection with Andean mysticism and unique crafts.
After taking a lunch break in a restaurant, we'll visit the General Cemetery of La Paz. Here lie the remains of Bolivia's most famous figures, such as the artist Jaime Sáenz, the writer Óscar Alfaro and the musician Carlos Palenque Avilés. You'll love the fascinating sculptures in the mausoleums, which are true works of art. We'll walk among the tombs and take in the grandeur of this burial place.
Next, we'll stroll along Los Andes Street, where we'll find embroiderers' workshops. You'll also be able to see traditional outfits from Bolivian festivities. Lastly, we'll take a ride on the La Paz cable car and visit Moon Valley to admire the natural monuments formed by erosion.
We'll then take you back to your hotel and drop you off at 4 pm.
