On this hiking tour through the Muela del Diablo, you'll enjoy a day full of adventure and nature -the perfect plan to unwind and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Muela del Diablo Hiking Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at the San Francisco de La Paz Square, where we'll hop on a bus that will take us to the starting point of this hiking tour.

Once we get there, we'll start our way up through the Pachajaya hill to reach the hilltop of the Muela del Diablo ('the Devil's molar'). Do you want to know the origin of such a peculiar name? We'll find out why on this tour!

For an hour, we'll walk up the mountain as we admire the beautiful red-colored scenery around us, as well as the natural formations of this area in the south of La Paz. Meanwhile, we'll also tell you about the myths and legends surrounding the Muela del Diablo.

After we get to the summit, you'll be able to have a rest, take pictures and enjoy the fresh air before we start our downhill hike. On the way down we'll continue to admire the natural beauty of this hill and communing with nature.

At the foot of the mountain, we'll find the village of Chiaraque, where the bus will be waiting for us to take us back to the starting point in La Paz, ending the tour there at 2 pm.
