Indiana Jones Route Trekking Tour
Indiana Jones Route Trekking Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Merced to start this great adventure to the Borgoña gorge, one of the most emblematic places in the province of Chanchamayo.
We’ll start the tour by going to the Kimiri suspension bridge, located on the outskirts of La Merced. This is the oldest viaduct in the whole province and also the most curious one. Do you dare to cross it?
At this point we will start a 30-minute walk through the Amazonian jungle following the so-called Indiana Jones Route while we go through the flora of the area like real adventurers. During the walk we’ll stop for a tropical fruit snack and arrive at the old gold wash house, where the miners used to stay.
We’ll then return to the trail to continue walking until we reach the Borgoña ravine, a magical enclave formed by tunnels and natural slides. Here you will be able to admire its springs and waterfalls and climb its rocks. We will give you free time to enjoy this wonderful place and spend a day full of fun.
Finally we will return to your hotel in La Merced, where we'll arrive about 5 hours later.
