Figueroa River Rafting
Tour Highlights
We'll pick you up at the designated time at Number 350, 5 de Abril Street in La Junta, and set off toward the banks of the Figueroa River, located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) away.
After preparing the rafts, setting up the paddles, and adjusting our helmets and life jackets, we'll learn some simple safety rules and kick off our exciting rafting descent on the Figueroa River. As we paddle, we'll have to navigate the rapids and rough waters of one of the fastest and most intense riverbeds in the Aysén region.
We'll cover 8 kilometers (5 miles) in the first section of the descent and end up at a 3-meter high (10-foot) rock from which the most daring can jump into the river. After this break, we'll continue the rafting route and finish after about 2 hours at the mouth of the Figueroa River in Rosselot Lake.
Upon reaching the shore of this lake, we'll take a short break to have a light snack and calmly enjoy the landscapes of Chilean Patagonia. Afterwards, we'll take a 40-minute boat ride on Lake Rosselot, an unforgettable experience!
The boat ride will end on the shores of the lake, where the vehicle will be waiting to take us back to La Junta. Arrival at the meeting point is scheduled 7.5 hours after pickup.
