Bus + Boat Transport to Monteverde
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Fortuna and head south toward Monteverde aboard a minibus.
We'll cross volcanic fields and arrive at Lake Arenal, a natural spring that was enlarged in the 70s to serve as a hydroelectric power generator in Costa Rica. It's now 30 kilometers (18 miles) long!
Once there, we'll switch modes of transport and board a boat that will take us across this picturesque lake and get incredible views of Arenal Volcano National Park. Don't forget your cameras!
After the crossing, we'll get off the boat at the southern tip of Lake Arenal. There, another minibus will be waiting for us to take you to your final destination.
We'll arrive at your hotel in Monteverde after a three-hour ride and you'll be free to explore this beautiful mountainous region on your own.
