Baikonur: 3 Day Tour + Rocket Launch

Day 1: Kyzylorda - Baikonur

On the first day of the tour, we'll pick you up at Kyzylorda Airport, from where we'll drive 250 kilometers (155 miles) across the desert steppe of Kazakhstan to Baikonur.

If you have arrived in the morning, after a well-deserved lunch, we'll spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the city of Baikonur. We'll visit the Cosmodrome History Museum, the Soyuz rocket carrier, the Monument to the victims of the Nedelin catastrophe, and the Cosmonauts' Alley, among other places of interest.

After four hours of discovering Baikonur, we'll have dinner and take you back to the hotel for a rest.

Day 2: Baikonur

Are you ready for a day full of emotions? First of all, we'll explore the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the first and largest cosmodrome in the world. Impressive, isn't it?

We'll walk through the different facilities of this immense complex and discover fascinating places such as Korolev's and Gagarin's houses and even a subway control bunker of RK Energia, among many other surprises.

But the highlight of the day will undoubtedly be the chance to see a rocket launch first - a sight that you'll never forget!

After the launch, we'll enjoy lunch before a panoramic tour of the cosmodrome. Afterwards, if your return flight departs in the morning, we'll take you to Kyzylorda this evening to sleep in the city.

Day 3: Baikonur - Kyzylorda

On the last day of the tour, we'll say goodbye to the Baikonur Cosmodrome and take you back to Kyzylorda Airport for your return flight.

If on the first day of the tour you arrived in the afternoon, and you have time, on the last day in the morning we'll do the tour of Baikonur described above.

Lodging

This tour includes two nights' accommodation in a single room in a 3-star hotel with all meals included. The two possible options are the 7 Vetrov or the Molniya.

Changes in the itinerary

The order of the visits will depend on the scheduled time of the rocket launch, which can be changed by the decision of the ROSCOSMOS authorities. It could vary in the following ways:

• If the change is known before the start of the tour, the tour dates may be changed.
• If the change occurs during the tour, the tour program will be modified.
• If the launch is canceled during the tour, the experience will be replaced by another tour by arrangement with the client.

Generally, the launch date is not usually changed less than 30 days in advance.
