Traditional Kimono Rental
The best way to enjoy a trip to an exotic place is to immerse yourself in the local culture. In Kyoto, you can wear the famous kimono and feel like a genuine Japanese citizen as you explore the city's streets.
At the Kimono rental shop, you'll discover the difference between the kimono and the yukata, and you can choose the model that suits your style best. You'll receive the complete pack - the obi (wide belt), the sandals (wooden or leather depending on the chosen model), the socks, the tunic, and the bag.
Your kimono can be elegant, fun, traditional, or striking. You decide!
Collection point & opening hours
You can pick up your kimono at the Yumeyakata kimono rental shop anytime during the shop's opening hours, 10 am to 5:30 pm. Please note, however, that you must drop off your kimono that same day at the same location before the store closes.
Therefore, if you pickup your kimono early in the morning and drop it off at the closing time, the maximum rental time will be 7.5 hours. If you come to the store later in the day, the rental time will be shorter.
Returns after 5:30 pm are not allowed, and it is not possible to return the kimono the next day.
