Kiev National Opera Tour

When booking, you can choose from the following options:

Opera Tour (2 hours 30 minutes)

At 4 pm we'll meet at the Golden Gate, near the Monument to Prince Yaroslav the Wise. From there we'll walk to what was once the House of Baron Von Steingel, also known as the Medieval Castle. You'll be surprised by its facade!

Following on we'll arrive at the protagonist of the tour, the Kiev National Opera, built in 1867. Accompanied by the guide, we'll visit the most incredible rooms, walk through the halls and the auditorium, while we discover the history and secrets of this great Ukrainian architectural masterpiece.

Opera + Lypky Quarter Tour (5 hours)

If you choose this option, we'll meet at 1:30 pm at 4 Instytutska Street, next to the Khrescatyk subway exit. You'll be captivated as we explore the prestigious Lypky neighbourhood

The tour will begin by admiring the different residential buildings in the area, which were constructed in the 18th century. Did you know that they were competing for the most beautiful house? 

Next, we'll stop in front of the National Bank of Ukraine, whose façade will call your attention. We'll also pass by the Presidential Administration, the Supreme Council and much more! Afterwards, we'll walk along Bánkova Street and stop at the foot of the monument dedicated to the famous Kievan opera singer Anatoly Soloviánenko.

Then we'll arrive at Shovkovichna Street, surrounded by impressive mansions such as the Pink House, the Arabian House and the Chocolate House. There you'll have 45 minutes of free time in case you want to go inside the latter. Finally, we'll make our way to the Kiev Opera House.
