After meeting at the Golden Gate of Kiev, we'll start your guided walking tour of the Ukrainain capital, delving into its more than 1500 years of history. Strolling down Volodymyrska Street one of the oldest and most improtant streets in the city, we'll get to admire the National Opera of Ukraine and the monument to Mykola Lysenko, considered the "father of Ukrainan music".
We'll then pass by the House of Baron Steingel, where we'll hear all about the mysterious secrets that shroud this romantic Medieval style "castle", before making our way down Khreschatyk Street to discover the Soviet legacy of its buildings.
Arriving at the Kiev Passage, an elegant shopping area of the capital, we'll stroll past its boutiques and restaurants, ending up at the historic ballet school at which the famous ballet dancer Serge Lifar studied.
Next you'll enter Kiev's government district, home to the National Bank of Ukraine, the Parliament building and the Mariyinski Palace, the official residence of the President of Ukraine. It's also known as the White House of Kiev!
The route then returns down Khreschatyk Street and finishes in the centre of Kiev.
