This cruise will take us to the remarkable site of Ephesus, where we'll immerse ourselves in the grandeur of this ancient Greco-Roman city. Prepare to be astounded by its remarkably preserved state! As we traverse the ruins of Ephesus, you'll uncover its magnificent treasures, with highlights including the awe-inspiring Library of Celsus, the majestic Roman Theater, and the glorious Temple of Hadrian.
We'll also tell you a lot of interesting facts about the site as we tour Ephesus. For example, did you know that it was the main commercial centre of the Mediterranean and that it had 200,000 inhabitants? You will be totally amazed!
Afterwards, we'll make an optional visit to the Hillside House, the homes of the inhabitants of Ephesus. If you wish, you can walk among these remains, and discover the mosaics that decorated their floors and the frescoes on the walls. We'll also learn about their lifestyle, such as the heating systems they used and the shops and workshops they had.
To conclude the excursion, we'll visit a local leather factory and, time permitting, we'll head to the Kusadasi market. Here, you'll have some free time to browse its stalls and explore the local handicrafts that characterize the region.
Lastly, to wrap things up, we'll bring you back to Kusadasi Port, bringing our 6-hour adventure to an end.
