At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Kuching, from where we will go to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, a rehabilitation centre for orangutans and other wonderful animal species.
After a pleasant 20-minute drive, we'll reach our destination. Have you ever seen an orangutan before? In Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, you'll encounter a lot of these magnificent creatures! This huge nature reserve of more than 2.5 square miles was created to rehabilitate orangutans that had been raised in captivity, victims of poachers, or were orphaned and not able to survive in the wild. Here, they are taught how to get along in their natural environment so that they can return to the forest.
After meeting the "men of the forest", we'll move to a crocodile sanctuary so that you can observe these prehistoric reptiles. We'll also visit two caves in the area: the Cave of the Fairies and the Cave of the Wind, two places that seem like they were taken from another world!
Finally, we'll board the minibus again and take you to your hotel, where we arrive after a total of 5 hours.
Starting point
This tour offers hotel pickup in downtown Kuching. If you're staying in another area, there will be an additional supplement to be paid on the day of the activity for pickup.
If you're arriving in Kuching by cruise ship, please let us know the name of the cruise and the time you'll have to return to the ship during the booking process.
