Taman Negara Rainforest Tour
Ready for a day of adventure? We'll pick you up at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur and head by bus to the center of the Malaysian peninsula, where the lush rainforest of Taman Negara awaits!
After a 3.5-hour drive, we'll arrive at Taman Negara National Park, a tropical rainforest that was formed 130 million years ago and is the oldest jungle in the world. It has an area of 1,677 mi2 (4,343 km2) and is one of the best places for ecotourism in the country.
We'll then go on a 3-hour hike up Teresek Hill (or Indah Hill, if the route to Teresek Hill is closed for maintenance). We'll ascend to its viewpoint, where we'll have breathtaking views of the jungle and the 7,175 ft (2,187 meters) high Gunung Tahan peak.
Following a lunch break at a floating restaurant, we'll head to the Tembeling River for a thrilling rapid shooting activity, where we'll speed down the rapids in a traditional Malaysian boat. Hold on tight, you'll get soaked!
The next stop will be in Orang Asli, an indigenous community that'll show us their way of life.
Finally, we'll return to Kuala Lumpur and drop you off at your hotel 15 hours after the initial pickup.
