In this same area, we'll also explore the historic St. Joseph's Church. This grand edifice played a significant role as a ghetto institution during the tumultuous World War II years. Additionally, we'll visit the Eagle's Pharmacy (Apteka pod Orlem), a vital hub within the ghetto where residents sought essential medical assistance and a haven of solace amidst the challenging circumstances.
Jewish Quarter Tour (45 minutes)
On this tour, we'll journey to the heart of Kazimierz, a place that has been a centre of Jewish culture for centuries.
While exploring this area, we'll stroll through Wolnica Square, where you'll get a glimpse of the town hall and the historical site that served as a crucial point on the old salt route. You'll have the opportunity to admire the intricate Gothic facade of the Corpus Christi Church and the exquisite details of the Tempel Synagogue.
