Krakow Bike Tour
Tour Options
What better way to get to know the capital of Poland than a bike tour through its most famous neighborhoods? With this tour, you can choose between the two following options to tear up the streets of Krakow on a thrilling bike tour. Both tours last 2 hours, and begin and end at the same point.
Old Town Tour
With this tour option, we'll pedal our way through the Old Town of Krakow along Rynek Główny, taking in the beautiful scenery. Then we'll bike down the Royal Mile, one of the city's most famous avenues. From here, we'll head toward Kanonicza Street as we discuss fascinating facts about its history.
Next up, we'll ride past St. Peter's Church to admire its intricate facade before we make our way to the Royal Palace of Wawel. Did you know this building is a perfect combination of all three European architectural styles? We'll admire the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque-style motifs before heading over to the Dragon Monument nearby.
Following this visit, we'll bike alongside our guide to see the Franciszkanski and Szczepanski Squares and continue on past the Basilica of St. Francis.
Then, it's on to Jagiellonian University before arriving at our last stop along the route, Barbican, a significant monument in Krakow. From here, we'll return to the starting point bringing our tour to an end.
Jewish Quarter Tour
When you opt for this bike tour through Krakow's Jewish Quarter, you'll get to know the city's historical side. Our first stop will be at the Old Synagogue, Poland's oldest synagogue. Then, we're off to the New Square and Corpus Christi and Rock Churches. Fun fact: the Rock Church actually has a different official name that we'll find out throughout the tour!
As we continue pedaling along, our knowledgeable guide will share meaningful insights with us about the historic Jewish community in the area. We'll cross the Father Bernatek Bridge to then reach Wolnica Square. Here, our guide will tell us how the Jewish community has lived harmoniously with the Polish community for centuries, both blending together to influence and create a rich tapestry of history in the country.
Then, we'll return to the starting point and bring our tour to an end.
