Hong Islands Excursion + Bioluminescent Plankton
After picking you up at your hotel in Krabi at 12 pm, we'll head to the port of Ao Nang and board a boat to start an exciting excursion to the Hong Islands. Did you know that this famous archipelago is one of the most visited in Thailand? The beauty of its beaches and its natural environment are just some of the attractions these islands have to offer.
As we sail through Phang Nga Bay, we'll begin to see the paradisiacal scenery of this environment, until we arrive at Hong Island, the most imposing of the whole archipelago. On one side of the island, we'll find its famous blue lagoon. Ready to take to the water? We'll give you all the necessary equipment to snorkel and explore the biodiversity that inhabits its waters.
Then, we'll get back on the boat to move on to Phak Bia Island, where we'll take a break to have a buffet dinner with barbecued vegetables, rice, grilled meats, soft drinks, mineral water and fresh fruit. Meanwhile, you'll be able to watch the sun melt into the sea, a sunset you'll never forget!
With our batteries recharged, we'll return to the boat to head to an area where, with some luck, you'll be able to see the area's famous bioluminescent plankton. Do you dare to take a dip at nightfall? The blue light emitted by these microorganisms is enhanced by the movement of the water. All you have to do is move your arms and legs to see them clearly - it's just like magic!
Finally, we'll return to the boat and head back to Krabi, arriving at your hotel at 7:30 pm.
Hotel pickup
The tour includes hotel pickup in Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao and Ao Nang. If you're staying in a more remote area, you'll need to pay a supplement to the driver on the day of the tour.
