We'll pick you up at your hotel in Koper at 9 am. Are you ready to pay tribute to your palate? Let's go and discover Istrian gastronomy!
The first stop of the tour will be Hum, considered as the smallest city in the world. Located in the heart of the Istrian peninsula, this Croatian town hides a surprising history about its birth. Besides learning about this legend, we'll discover the biska, a brandy made with spices and based on an ancient recipe that is only made in Hum. You'll love it!
We'll follow the route along the Istrian peninsula until we reach Motovun, one of the most famous medieval towns in the region. As well as a tour of its most emblematic monuments, including the bell tower of St. Stephen's Church, we'll discover the town's star product, the truffle.
The Motovun forest is one of the best places to find white truffles, it also has a large number of vineyards. Afterwards, we'll go to a local restaurant where they'll teach us how to prepare a dish with typical products to taste afterwards. Enjoy!
To complete this food tour, we'll travel to Grožnjan, a village that exudes charm in every corner. Here we'll get to know the wine and olive industry of the area, as well as a large number of art galleries in the town.
Finally, we'll return to Koper, to end at 5 pm.
