If you've already got the diving bug and want to train as a scuba diver during your stay in Koh Chang, our Koh Chang PADI Open Water Diver Course is exactly what you've been looking for. During our fun and informative course, you'll complete four dives.
Day 1: Theory lesson and practice in confined waters
On the first day of the course we'll take you to the diving school so you can receive a theory lesson and take a simple test to make sure you've understood all the key points.
Afterwards, we'll move from theory to practice by going to the beach to dive in an area with calm water so we can practise some exercises. You'll learn how to set up your equipment, assist a buddy who has run out of air, empty your mask, control your buoyancy... Everything you need to be able to dive independently!
Days 2 and 3: Dives in open water
The second and third day of the course will be the most fun part. We'll do two dives on both days, during which we'll test everything you learnt on Day 1. In addition, we'll practise using the compass.
We'll also make the most of these dives and explore the lively seabeds of Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Rang in the Gulf of Thailand.
At the end of the course, we'll head back to dry land and give you your PADI Open Water Diver Course certificate. With this certificate, you can dive independently all over the world - congratulations!
Lunch
Lunch is included on every day of the course. We'll serve a delicious buffet menu consisting of rice, noodles, salad, fresh fish, chicken and fresh fruit.
