On this excursion to the lagoon of Balos and the island of Gramvousa, we'll sail across the shallow turquoise waters of Kissamos Bay and see some of the greatest treasures of Crete.
Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island Boat Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet up at the Kissamos port, and set off on our Crete boat tour.
We'll pass rocky cliffs, caves, and secret coves, sailing through the infinite blue of the Aegean Sea. The boat will skirt the island of Crete, stopping to observe the dramatic elevation changes that take place on its western and eastern coasts. Then, at the end of the bay of Kissamos, we'll come across the island of Gramvousa and Cape Vouxa. You'll be blown away by the beautiful scenery and the view of the Valenti, Pontikonisi, and Balos lagoons in the distance.
Depending on the weather conditions, we'll stop for 2 hours in Gramvousa or 2.5 hours in Balos lagoon, where we'll leave you some free time to swim and explore on your own. In Gramvousa, also known as the island of pirates, you can check out the paradise beach, where you'll find the remains of a shipwreck, or climb up to the castle of Gramvousa.
If we stop at the lagoon of Balos, you'll have the opportunity to discover one of the most dazzling beaches in the world. You can marvel at its vibrant turquoise waters, relax on its pink sand dotted with shells, and admire the breathtaking natural beauty of the place.
On board the boat, you'll be able to find all different foods which you can buy for yourself - time to recharge our batteries!
Finally, we'll return to the Kissamos port, where we'll disembark seven hours after departure.
