Vermont Nature Trail Tour
Vermont Nature Trail Tour
The tour will start at the Kingstown cruise terminal at 9 am where we'll board a bus to head to our destination. First, we'll take a scenic tour of the city to see its most important monuments, including the Caribbean Supreme Court, Kingstown Market and the Methodist Church.
Afterward, we'll make a brief stop at Campden Park and travel north to explore one of the most important natural parks in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Vermont Nature Trail.
Upon arrival, we'll begin a hiking route through the park. The route will begin near the Buccament Valley, admiring the rainforest landscape which is characteristic of the island. We'll walk along the main trail to see the tropical flora and hear the songs of the different birds that live in the area.
One of the most special moments during the walk will be the St. Vincent Parrots, St. Vincent Amazon or St. Vincent Warbler sightings, three rare species that live on the island and are protected both nationally and internationally.
After spending two and a half hours exploring the island's rainforest, we'll get the bus back to Kingstown, where the tour will end at 1 pm.
