Kingstown Guided Tour
Kingstown Guided Tour
At 9 am we'll meet at the Kingstown Cruise Terminal and board a bus that will take us around the most important monuments and points of interest in the capital of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
First, we'll visit some of the island's most symbolic buildings, such as the Police Station, the Caribbean Supreme Court, the Financial Complex and the Cenotaph, a monument dedicated to the fallen of the First World War.
The following stop on the tour will be the market square, where you'll come across traditional products and delicacies sold by local farmers and vendors. And next we'll explore an important street in the city home to three different churches. The guide will explain the characteristics of each one of them as we make our way through the city.
Continuing on, we'll visit Fort Charlotte, a British colonial fortress built on a hill overlooking Kingstown harbour. You'll be left in awe of the spectacular views from this strategic point.
During the last part of the tour, we'll walk along Nelson Mandela Street, and come to Victoria Park, a small park traditionally used for carnival celebrations. We'll also visit the city's Botanical Garden, a true Kingston gem.
Then, we'll head to the picturesque Villa beach, where you'll have an hour of free time to relax and swim in its waters. Finally, we'll return to the starting point to finish the tour at 1 pm.
