Kingston Reggae Tour
Kingston Reggae Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in Kingston, we’ll take you to the first stop: the Wailers’ Museum. This truly is a must-see on any trip to the Jamaica capital.
Once there, we’ll head into the gallery and you’ll find out more about the history of one of the most famous groups of all time. What do you know about the Wailers? With the help of an interactive exhibition, we’ll travel back to the origins of the band, led by Bob Marley, the king of reggae.
Afterwards, we’ll head to the Jamaica Music Museum. This is the perfect spot if you want to learn more about why this Caribbean island is one of the world’s biggest music producers. Rocksteady, ska, dancehall… there really is something for everyone!
At 1 pm, we’ll give you 40 minutes of free time so that you can enjoy some lunch (not included), and then, with your energy replenished, we’ll head to one of the liveliest streets in Kingston: Orange Street. Also known as music street, here we’ll visit a recording studio and we’ll enter a record store.
We couldn’t end the tour without visiting Trench Town; the birthplace of reggae and where Bob Marley spent a large part of his career. So many hits and classics were created here!
After discovering more about the reggae culture in Kingston, we’ll end the tour be returning to your hotel at around 4 pm.
