Carrauntoohil Mountain Trekking

The tour meets at 9:30 am at Cronin's Yard, just outside Killarney from where we'll start our day hike up the highest peak in Ireland, Carrauntoohil Mountain: an unforgettable route!

Explore the trails winding up the mountain, and drink in the spectacular landscapes that will lie in wait around every corner on this 12 km excursion, as you put your body to the test! It's well worth it as, over 1,000 metres up atop Carrauntoohil you'll get the best views of County Kerry.

Don't worry, throughout the route we'll make stops so you can rest and enjoy both the ascent and the descent. The guide accompanies you at all times and the walk is sure to be much easier than you think.

After ascending to the highest mountain in Ireland via the famous Devil’s Staircase, we will return to the starting point where the day comes to an end at approximately 6 pm.
