Kigali Free Tour
Kigali Free Tour
At the indicated time, we'll start this free tour of Kigali from the Kigali Heights Shopping Mall. Are you ready to explore the capital of Rwanda?
First, we'll see the dome of the Kigali Convention Centre, one of the main architectural symbols of the city. We'll then head to the Inema Arts Centre to visit this centre for artistic creation, which was founded in 2012 by the painters Innocent Nkurunziza and Emmanuel Nkuranga.
We'll continue our free tour of Kigali at the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial. Here, we'll talk about the 1994 Rwandan genocide and the consequences of this tragic event that shocked the world. We'll then move on to the Nyamirambo Women's Center, which is dedicated to providing education to women who would not otherwise be able to afford it.
The next stop will be the famous Biryogo Car Free Food Street, an iconic pedestrian street where you'll have 30 minutes of free time to enjoy traditional Rwandan dishes.
Finally, after 2.5 hours of activity, we'll conclude the tour by walking through the most central streets of Downtown Kigali.
