Buddhist Temples Tour of Phang Nga
Between 7:30 and 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Khao Lak. From there, we will start a tour to discover the most famous Buddhist temples in Phang Nga province.
First, we will visit the Dragon Cave temple, a place full of mysticism where we will have the opportunity to admire its millenary stalactites and stalagmites. In addition, you will be able to taste the famous herbal tea prepared by its monks.
Afterward, we will go to the Wat Bang Riang temple, where we enjoy one of the best views of the region thanks to its stunning location on top of a mountain. This is the home of one of the famous relics of the Buddha which you will see for yourself while listening to the fascinating history.
After this visit, we will charge our batteries with a typical Thai lunch. The menu will consist of several different dishes of the country's delicious gastronomy.
Full of energy, we will visit the last temple of the day, Wat Suwan Kuha, where we will admire its famous statue of the Reclining Buddha. In addition, we will have fun meeting the friendly monkeys that live in this complex which will come to greet you!
Finally, we will take you back to your hotel in Khao Lak, where we will arrive between 16:30 and 5 pm.
