First of all, we'll head to the historic centre of Kazan to start exploring this Tatarstan city on foot. During the tour, we'll talk about the exciting history of Kazan, Russia's third largest city, while admiring its most symbolic monuments.

We'll pass by the Church of the Epiphany and then stop at the legendary dragon statue. The next stop on the tour will be the Kazan Kremlin, the city's most iconic monument. As we walk alongside its exterior walls, we'll unveil the historical events that took place there.

You'll also discover the city's cultural heritage by admiring its elegant, deep blue Kul Sharif Mosque. Finally, we'll head to Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, a uniquely decorated example of Russian baroque architecture.

Private tour by car

We'll start this sightseeing tour of Kazan by visiting the outskirts of the city. We'll pass by the Kremlin embankment, spot the elegant Ministry of Agriculture building and make our way to the Kazan Arena stadium, where the 2018 World Cup was held.

Afterwards, we'll visit one of the city's most unique buildings. This would be the Wedding Palace, which is shaped like a chalice. Once we've learned a bit about it, we'll head to the Volga River embankment to look out at an incredible view of Europe's longest river. We'll then go to the colourful Temple of All Religions, which is also known as the Temple of the Universe.

To round off our private tour of Kazan, we'll drive past the Uspensky Monastery and the Holy Trinity Cathedral before finishing at the Raifa Monastery and admiring its amazing green and golden domes.
