Waimea Canyon & Kōkeʻe State Park Day Trip
Waimea Canyon & Kōkeʻe State Park Day Trip
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kauai and drive to Waimea Canyon. Let's go!
On the way there, we'll stop at Sprouting Horn. This blow hole is located in the middle of a volcanic platform and sees the water shooting up in a powerful, 50-foot (15-metre) high jet when the waves break.
We'll admire views of Hanapepe Valley from a viewpoint and then arrive at the Waimea Canyon. When we're aboard the minibus, we'll stop in different parts of the Grand Canyon of the Pacific to take pictures of its astonishing beauty. You'll see plenty of deep hills, waterfalls and steep gorges await during this part of the tour.
Next, we'll head to the Kōkeʻe State Park to follow a short hiking trail. This is a fantastic place to discover the flora and fauna endemic to Hawaii while relaxing to the sound of birds, such as the apapane, chirping up above.
Before we say goodbye to the Kōkeʻe State Park, we'll have a picnic lunch in this beautiful setting. You'll have a choice of chicken, ribs or salad, plus a drink.
The last stops of the day will be at Kekaha Beach and a coffee plantation. Afterwards, we'll drop you off at your hotel 10 hours after pickup. See you next time!
