At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Kaohsiung and make our way towards the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist temple, one of the most important buildings in the city.
While surrounded by the peace and tranquillity of this sanctuary, we'll enter the inside to discover why it's one of Taiwan's most important Buddhist temples. Did you know that over 400 golden Buddha statues guard its entrance?
After visiting the Fo Guang Shan Temple, we'll make our way towards the Kaohsiung Neurological Centre to check out the famous Lotus Lake, a charming spot surrounded by pagodas and markets. The lotus flowers that cover the lake make this location a postcard-worthy scene.
Our next stop will be at Soushan Park, on the slope of the mountain of the same name. Here we'll enjoy the natural surroundings and stroll along the banks of the Love River. To bring this tour to an end, we'll visit the oldest part of the city, Yanchengpu, to discover the lifestyle of the local people who live there.
Afterwards, we'll make our way back to the hotels in Kaohsiung.
