Kandy Private Day Trip
Kandy Private Day Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kandy at 9 am. Then, we'll board an air-conditioned vehicle towards the Royal Botanical Garden.
Here, we'll visit the famous Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya, an incredible place that is home to over 4000 different plant species. We'll help you identify some of these beautiful specimens. The stunning garden is full of colourful plants, herbal plants, endemic and epidemic species, and palm family trees. You'll also see the world’s largest bamboo tree species and a huge variety of orchids.
Our next destination is the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. This is a home for 70–80 elephants who have been abandoned by their parents or injured. You'll be able to spot them bathing by the river and even observe baby elephants being fed.
At sunset, we'll head to the Ambuluwawa Tower, a green hilly area rich in biodiversity. At the top of the mountain, there's a man-made viewpoint tower, approximately 48 metres (157 feet) tall that offers 360-degree views.
After 10 hours of activity, we'll make our way back to Kandy.
