Meteora Sunset Hike
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and drive our minibus to Meteora. This place houses a group of Eastern Orthodox monasteries that have been inhabited since the 14th century. Due to its history and spectacular location upon high rocks, Meteora has been declared a World Heritage Site.
When we get there, we'll set off on a hike through Meteora's secret caves. We'll visit places that are unknown to most tourists, such as the monks' prison and the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, and discover a host of hermits' caves hidden among Meteora's colossal rocks.
As we walk, we'll discuss the history and legends that surround Meteora and admire breathtaking views of this monastic complex.
During the final stretch of our hike, we'll take a break at a viewpoint to admire a beautiful sunset in Meteora. Don't forget your camera.
After 4 hours of hiking, history and incredible views, we'll drop you off at your hotel and say our goodbyes.
