Discover the most important places of interest in the Alaskan capital on this guided tour of Juneau. History, culture and nature await!
Juneau Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your selected meeting point and set off by minibus to explore the capital of Alaska. Firstly, we'll head into the centre of Juneau to admire some of its most emblematic buildings, like the Alaska State Capitol, the Governor's House and the Russian Orthodox Church.
Our next stop will be the Alaska State Museum, where we'll find fascinating exhibitions which will immerse us in the culture of this remote US state. Learn all about the foundation of this city and how its relates to the Gold Rush. What's more, we'll discover the four main indigenous groups that live in Alaska.
We'll continue on our tour heading to Douglas Island, which is separated from the mainland by the Gastineau Channel. From the island, we'll enjoy beautiful views of Juneau from a new perspective - a perfect photo opportunity!
The tour will then take us to the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery, known to the locals as DIPAC. We'll have around 20 minutes to learn all about the work done here and to get to know one of Juneau's most important marine creatures: salmon.
For the finishing touch on our tour, we'll visit Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventures, an enormous botanical garden and nursery where we'll get to learn about the great biodiversity of Juneau.
The tour will come to an end back at the original departure point after three and a half hours.
