La Romana & Altos de Chavón Tour

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel. Once on the bus, we'll set off on around a two hour drive to the Chavón River.

On arrival at this spectacular spot, we'll board a boat to enjoy a tranquil cruise on the river. For 40 minutes we'll get to admire the beautiful natural landscapes surrounding us and even see the charming village of Altos de Chavón in the distance.

After the boat trip, we'll set to explore Altos de Chavón itself. We'll walk through the streets and visit the amphitheatre of this reconstructed Mediterranean village. We'll also visit a cigar factory where we will learn all the secrets of the famous Dominican tobacco.

Later, we'll head towards La Romana. We'll get to see the church, the municipal market and visit two shopping centres: Columbus Plaza and Jumbo, where you'll have time time to do some shopping.

We'll conclude the excursion with arrival back at your hotel in Juan Dolio after 6 hours of activity.
