Laguna Garzón Hike
Description
At the indicated time we'll meet at the Ecoturismo Laguna Garzón offices, on the shores of this lake which is considered a unique protected area.
Once we're all there, we'll set off on a hiking route to explore this unique ecosystem in Uruguay. Why is it so special? Garzón Lagoon has the most important patch of psamophilous scrubland in the country. Don't worry if you're not familiar with the term - you'll become an expert over the course of the tour!
As we walk along the lagoon, we'll enjoy the beautiful landscapes, taking care of the natural ecosystem as we do so. In addition, along the 5-kilometre (3.1-mile) route, we'll make different stops so that you can contemplate the birds that inhabit the Garzón lagoon.
After 3 hours of walking, we'll return to the starting point and the hiking route will come to an end.
