Soweto + Apartheid Museum Day Trip
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel, and set off on this interesting tour of Johannesburg.
During the tour, we'll explore what life was like in South Africa in the 20th century and learn all about the struggle against racial segregation on a visit to the Apartheid Museum. Around 1 pm, we'll take a 30-minute break to grab a bite to eat for lunch.
In the area of Soweto, we'll take a stroll down the historic Vilakazi Street. You'll get to see Nelson Mandela's former home, where we'll delve into the past of the activist and former South African president.
Other interesting sites we'll visit on the tour include Soccer City Stadium, which hosted the 2010 World Cup, Desmond Tutu's home, as well as Hector Pieterson Memorial.
At the end of the tour, we'll take you back to your hotel and the activity will finish.
