Do you want to see Africa's big five? Enjoy this Pilanesberg Park Safari and discover the spectacular animals.
Pilanesberg Park Safari
We'll pick you up from your hotels at 4 am to start the drive to Pilanesberg National Park as soon as possible. The drive will take 2 hours 30 minutes, but it will be well worth it.
Once we arrive at Pilanesberg Park we'll start our safari with one goal in mind: to see Africa's Big Five. This is the name given to the lion, the black rhino, the African savannah elephant, the leopard and the African buffalo.
We'll spend 4 hours walking through this natural environment. Did you know that its slopes are part of an ancient volcanic crater? More than 7,000 animals live here!
Near the Mankwe Dam, we'll find herbivores such as zebras, antelopes and giraffes. We can also see a great variety of birds, from cormorants to fish eagles.
At 1:30 pm we'll enjoy lunch around Pilansberg.
Africa's Big Five
Wild animals are unpredictable. It's very likely that we'll see Africa's Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant), due to the abundant populations of these animals in the Pilanesberg National Park. However, variables beyond human control mean that we're likely to see more or less of them.
