If you're in Jerusalem and want to visit one of the most famous archaeological digs in the world, don't miss this 1 or 2-day trip to Petra! The Great Temple, the Columned Street, the Djin blocks, and other World  Heritage structures await us.

1-Day Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet outside the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem. On board a coach, we'll travel between Israel and Jordan until we reach Petra. The journey along the highway will take around 5 hours.

Once there, we'll take a guided tour around Petra, aptly nicknamed the Rose City. Did you know that it's considered one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World? Accompanied by our guide, we'll walk between the walls of the Siq Gorge and begin to admire the excavated temples and tombs in the rock of the tall reddish stone cliffs. It's truly spectacular!

Después de conocer monumentos tan emblemáticos como el Tesoro de Petra, las Tumbas Reales, el teatro o los bloques de Djinn, daremos por finalizado el tour. A continuación, disfrutaremos de una comida típica para reponer fuerzas. After discovering the other iconic monuments such as the Petra Treasure, the Royal Tombs, the threatre and the Djin Blocks

After spending a day visiting some of Jordan's treasures, we'll cross the border once again and return to Jerusalem. We'll say our goodbyes back at your hotel in the Israeli capital at around midnight.

2-Day Tour

If you have more time and want to take a more relaxed tour of Petra, this 2-day tour is for you. In this case, after visiting Petra on the first day, we'll make our way to a local restaurant for a bite to eat and bring the day to a close by spending the night at a hotel in Wadi Musa.

The following day, we'll have breakfast at the hotel and then make our way back to the archaeological site. This time, you can take a stroll around the site at your own pace and without a guide.

You can use this second day to explore the monuments that you didn't get to see the day before and continue learning about the customs and beliefs of this ancient Nabataean civilisation. The Petra Monastery, the Great Temple and the columned street are some of the spots you will get to discover.

Finally, we'll return to the bus that evening and make our way back to Jerusalem. Please be at the meeting point between midnight and 1 am.

Accommodation

The 2-day tour includes a night of accommodation with breakfast at the 3-star Venus Hotel Petra or at the 4-star Sella Hotel Petra, whichever you'd prefer. In both cases, the accommodation will consist of double rooms in the town of Wadi Musa. If both of the previously mentioned hotels are booed up, we'll stay at similar hotels corresponding to your chosen category.
