Even better is the Palestinian guide who did the Bethlehem tour (George), who organized the very well-coordinated visit so that we could enter the cave of Jesus' birth, which is not always possible. The only drawback of the tour is the same as always, they take you to stores that you might not even enter and the food is always where the tour decides although the price is not included.

Jerusalem and Bethlehem Walking Tour

After collecting you from the selected hotel at around 7:50 am, we'll start our tour around the essential attractions in Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

Our first stop will be Mount Scopus, from where we'll admire the golden Dome of the Rock, one of the most fascinating monuments in Jerusalem. From there it's on to the Garden of Gethsemani, the Church of All Nations and the Kidron Valley, until we get to the old town.

Once in the centre of Jerusalem, we'll explore the Jewish quarter, and HaKardo, until we get to the famous Wailing Wall.

We'll walk along Via Dolorosa, the road that Jesus took to his crucifixion. We then the tour heads to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre home to Calvary Hill and Christ's tomb.

After finishing our tour of Jerusalem, in the afternoon we'll head to Bethlehem, stopping at manger square and visiting the Church of the Nativity. Then we'll descend to the grotto where Jesus was born according to scripture.

We'll return to the meeting point in Jerusalem at approximately 4:30 pm.

Buen tour por la ciudad Vieja con un buen guía (Avi). Mejor todavia el guia palestino que ha hecho el tour de Belen (George) que ha organizado la visita muy bien coordinada para que pudieramos entrar en la cueva del nacimiento de Jesús, que no siempre se consigue. La única pega del tour lo de siempre, te llevan a tiendas que igual tu ni entrarias y la comida siempre es donde el tour decide aunque el precio no está incluido. Buena actividad, empezamos por Belén y visitamos la Iglesia de la Natividad. Las explicaciones fueron muy interesantes y acertadas. Posteriormente fuimos a comer a un comerdor regentado por los franciscanos. No era caro y era bastante bueno y abundante. Y por último a Jerusalem, Visita de la Iglesia del Santo Sepulcro, muro de las lamentaciones, etc. Recomendable para entender esta ciudad. Aunque si puedes quedarte un dia o dos más vale la pena. Me gusto mucho el primer guía , la guía de Palestina no tanto , sentí que nos obligaba a dejar dinero en los comercios y nos llevo a un restaurante buffet que la comida estaba pésima después pidiendo propinas para los guías y el chofer cuando el tour costó casi 100 € por cada persona Translate this opinion into English.

El guía, Yonatan, se esforzó por mucho por darnos toda la información necesaria (de forma amena y entretenida) ofreciendo una visión imparcial sobre la situación política del país. Nos gustó mucho Erez (el guía de la parte de Jerusalén) y también Mariane, que nos guió en Belén. Empieza con la vista desde el Monte Scopus, con una panorámica general de la ciudad y su historia. Toda la visita es impactante, y está muy bien pensada para recorrer en poco tiempo los principales sitios de la Jerusalén histórica y de ese otro mundo que es Belén. El almuerzo muy bueno.
