When booking your private tour, you can opt for a tour along the East or West coast of Jericoacoara. Both routes include pickup from your hotel on board a jardineira. This typical 4x4 vehicle of the region, with a maximum capacity of up to 10 passengers plus driver, is a type of off-road car that is perfectly adapted to negotiate the dunes of Jericoacoara.

Whichever way you choose, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Jericoacoara between 9:30 and 10 am. Return to your accommodation between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm.

East Coast Tour

We'll start this jardineira tour along the East coast of Jericoacoara in the direction of the Sloth Tree, one of the symbols of the region. After discovering why this botanical specimen is so unique, we'll continue the jardineira tour to Preá beach, where you'll be able to take pictures of its heaveny landscapes.

Then, depending on your choice, we'll go to the beach club Lagun Beach or to Buraco Azul, a famous lake with turquoise waters. Its colour is due to the calcareous sediments at the bottom of the lagoon, which are reflected by the sunlight. Amazing, isn't it? We'll stay at the chosen spot for about an hour.

After enjoying the scenery, we'll head to Lagoa do Paraíso. There, you can have lunch at one of the beach bars or relax in the hammocks on the shores of the lagoon. From there, we'll head to Lagoa do Amâncio, where we'll make a last stop to enjoy this lake surrounded by dunes.

West Coast Tour

In this case, after picking you up at your hotel, we'll leave by jardineira to the west. The traction of the 4x4 vehicle will allow us to cross the dunes of the area until we reach the beautiful landscapes of the Jericoacoara National Park. Once there, we'll take a ferry that will take us to the town of Camocim, where we'll continue our overland route.

We'll start the garden tour in Camocim visiting the Guriú beach, where those who wish can take an optional tour to see the seahorses. We'll continue the route observing the mangroves in the area, and from there we'll go into the dunes.

We'll also make a stop in an adventure sports area, where you can get your adrenaline hit on a zip-line circuit or on a water slide. After, we'll go to a restaurant in Lago Grande or Tatajuba so that you can have lunch on your own.
