Jeju Island Bus Tour
Description
Depending on the day you book, we'll go on one of the following routes. All of them last 8.5 hours and include transport by bus, an English-speaking guide and lunch. You can see the details of each route below.
Eastern Route
Once on the bus, we'll drive to the popular Jeolmul Natural Forest, where we'll hike through cedar forests. Then, we'll visit Seongeup Folk Village, where we'll get an insight into the local community's daily life and some interesting facts about Jeju's culture.
We'll savour a typical Korean lunch to recharge our batteries before heading to Gwangchigi Beach. In addition to admiring the hilly landscape, we'll see the Haenyeo, female Jeju divers, did you know that they dive without using any special diving equipment?
Next, we'll visit Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak for a 1-hour trekking route. You're sure to fall in love with this volcanic landscape.
Afterwards, we'll hop back on the bus to follow the Jongdalri coastal road to Jeju Stone Park. Finally, we'll close the tour with a grand finale exploring this open-air museum.
Western Route
We'll begin this tour of the west of Jeju at Hyupjae and Gumneung Beach. There, we'll relax surrounded by white sand, crystal-clear waters and views of Biyangdo Island. We'll continue our route to Hallim Park, an idyllic park with over 100,000 square metres (1,076,391 square feet) of magical gardens and caves.
Next, we'll take a break to enjoy a delicious Korean lunch before continuing our adventure around Jeju Island. We'll make our way to O’sulloc Green tea field, the perfect place to learn all about the Korean green tea tradition.
Our next stop will be Songak Mountain—did you know it has a double crater at the top? It's the only one of its kind in the world! After enjoying the panoramic views, we'll have the opportunity to choose between the following 2 activities: a visit to Cheonjeyeon Waterfall to continue enjoying nature or to the Teddy Bear Museum to discover over 100 years of history.
Southern Route
First, we'll go to Mysterious Road, where we'll see a strange phenomenon: when a car is placed on the steepest part of the road, the vehicle does not roll down, but goes up. Can you guess why this happens?
Then, we'll reach Hallan National Park for a 1.3-kilometre (0.8-mile) hiking trail to the top of Eoseungsaengkak. Once at the top, we'll admire a spectacular view, don't forget your camera!
Afterwards, we'll get back on the bus and make our way to the Alive Museum, where we'll see quirky 3D historical paintings and sculptures that seem to come to life.
Next, we'll have a well-deserved lunch before heading to the impressive Jusangjeolli Hexagon Lava Cliff. Finally, we'll head to Jeongbang Waterfalls, stopping to admire Oedolgae Rock from the shore. Did you know they call it Grandma Rock? We'll tell you why!

From 1 January 2025, the stops on the western route will change. Instead of visiting Hallim Park and Cheonjeyeon Falls, we'll go to Jusanjeolli Lava Cliff and Jeongbang Waterfalls.
