Canyoning + Abseiling Jarabacoa Tour
Description
At the scheduled time the group will meet at the camp on Calle de la Piña, and from there we'll make our way to the suburbs of Jarabacoa heading north.
After a short journey of around 30 minutes, we'll arrive at the shore of the Jimenoa River. Here is where we'll get all the equipment ready and begin practising canyoning in the surrounding natural environment, Are you ready for this exciting adventure?
The experience will consist of descending into various canyons using ropes and harnesses. The activity's instructor will be in charge of keeping an eye on the group, so there'll be nothing to worry about. Just let yourself go and enjoy the natural landscapes that surround you in this part of the Dominican Republic.
We'll continue the tour at a waterfall on the outskirts of the town, where we'll practice abseiling from 30 metres (98 feet) above the ground. This new challenge will of course be rewarded with a refreshing dip in the waterfall afterwards.
After a dip, we'll return back to the meeting point, where we'll arrive after 4 hours of adventure.
