We'll pick you up at your hotel in Jakarta and set off on our adventure to Tangkuban Perahu. Are you ready to discover the Indonesian wilderness? Let's go!
Once we arrive at Tangkuban Perahu, we'll tour one of the most important active volcanoes in West Java. As soon as we step foot out of the vehicle, we'll find ourselves surrounded by tropical rainforests and lush pine forests. And keep your eyes peeled! It's possible that if we're lucky we'll see some monkeys swinging from branch to branch in the trees.
We'll be able to get up very close to the crater, where we'll notice the smell of sulfur as we witness the puffs of smoke and hear the chilling sound of the active volcano.
Next, we'll walk to a massive tea plantation located very close to the volcanic area. How is it harvested? What types of teas are native to this area? What is the tea cultivation process like? As we walk through the tea plantation, we'll learn tons of fascinating fun facts.
By now you'll have built up an appetite, so before continuing our tour of Tangkuban Perahu, we'll take a break for some free time so that you can have lunch on your own.
After lunch and a visit to the surroundings of the volcano, it'll be time to relax at the hot springs before returning to Jakarta. You'll be able to dip your feet in the warm sulfur water, which has proven beneficial properties for your joints and skin. You'll leave feeling refreshed and good as new!
Sixteen hours later, we'll drop you back off at your accommodation in Jakarta.
